Tony Auger - BDS(Eng) - Clinic Director GDC Reg. 62668
Tony has built a reputation for creating aesthetic dentistry. Qualifying from Birmingham University in 1987 with a Distinction in Clinical Dentistry, Tony has pursued an extensive post-graduate education. Specialist interests include aesthetic dentistry, dental implants and complex restorative cases. Tony has a “Teeth for Life” philosophy and a commitment to providing patients with the highest levels of care.
Louise graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1988. After working in general dental practice for two years, she set up the Domiciliary Dental service based at Hospital Lane. For the last five years, Louise has taken on the role of Radiation Protection Supervisor and undertakes the cross-sectional images used for implant planning.
Craig qualified in dentistry at Kings College, London in 1990. He worked in the hospital environment and in general dental practice whilst gaining his PhD, which he received at Kings in 1995. Craig worked as a lecturer in the Department of Periodontics at the Royal London Hospital, where he also supervised the Masters courses in Periodontics. He gained his fellowship exams at the Royal College of Surgeons in 1999 and in that year gained his Specialist status in Periodontics. Craig has been with Hospital Lane Dental and Implant Clinic since early in 2000 and undertakes many dental implant cases.
Zelda graduated in 1999 from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. Zelda’s postgraduate education includes a Diploma in Clinical Dentistry, a one-year course in restorative dentistry and a Certificate in Practical Restorative and Aesthetic dentistry. She has been at Hospital Lane since 2004 and is currently studying for the FGDP (UK) Diploma in Restorative Dentistry.
Shirley qualified in dentistry with honours in 1992, subsequently completing her specialist training in Orthodontics in 2000. She is currently a Consultant in Orthodontics at the Royal London Hospital.
Shirley has been providing more and more Invisalign treatments in recent years and has become an accredited Platinum Specialist Orthodontic provider for both Adults and Teens. Her patients particularly like the ClinCheck virtual 3D treatment plan which shows the series of movements teeth are projected to go through over the course of treatment. This enables patients to see what their new smile is expected to look like when the treatment is completed.
Younes qualified from Tehran Medical University in 1996. Having worked for three years in general dental practice, he moved to the UK in 2000 for postgraduate training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He achieved the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2003 after working in various London hospitals for three years. He then worked as a Staff Grade Oral Surgeon in the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead and also in a dental practice in London for four years. During this time, he developed a keen interest in dental implants. He passed the rigorous examination of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and obtained the Diploma in Implant Dentistry in 2010.
He is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology UK. Younes has a patient-centred approach and believes in "the right treatment for the right patient at the right time". He joined Hospital Lane in 2007.
Ines graduated from Egas Moniz Health Services in Lisbon in 2006. Following three years experience in general practice, Ines pursued specialist training in Periodontology at the Eastman Dental Institute. Having completed her MClinDent in Periodontology in 2013, Ines is now a registered Specialist in Periodontics with the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Ines is a skilled communicator, passionate about achieving excellent clinical outcomes for her patients, with a gentle approach. Ines joined Hospital Lane Dental Clinic in 2014.
Manuel Gonzalez–O’Sullivan - DDS(Seville) Masters Degree in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry (Seville) GDC Reg. 101936
Manuel qualified from the University of Seville in 2005. Following three years of general practice in Nottingham, he returned to Spain, completing a Diploma in Aesthetic Dentistry from Complutense University, Madrid. In 2013, he completed his MClinDent in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at the University of Seville, Spain.
Manuel is a Clinical Teaching Fellow in the Master's Programme of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at the University of Seville. He's currently working on his PhD degree in Implant Dentistry. Manuel joined Hospital Lane in 2014.
Moj as he is known by his patients, carried out his dental training at The Royal London Hospital. After graduating, he undertook a 1 year Vocational Training post in Norfolk and subsequently worked there for 7 years before relocating back to London. Prior to joining Hospital Lane, he also worked abroad in Qatar for some time treating members of the Royal family and expatriates.
Alan Knight qualified from Birmingham University in 2005. He has vast experience in all aspects of oral surgery as well as the treatment of anxious patients with intravenous sedation. Alan particularly enjoys helping patients get out of pain and his experiences in both oral surgery and Root Canal Treatment places him in an ideal position to diagnose and help solve patient’s problems. His experience of managing anxious patients combined with his kind and caring manner helps alleviate any anxieties the patient may have towards dental treatment.
Paul Lasota - Dip Clin Dent Tech RCS England 2013 GDC Reg. 135204
Paul initially qualified as a clinical dental technician in Europe and is now one of the few recognised clinical dental technicians qualifed in England . Paul received a distinction from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2013.
The clinic recognises in some situations the clinical dental technician is uniquely placed to carry out the clinical stages and technical work when providing denture treatment the patient.
Jo qualified in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy at the Royal London Hospital in 1996. She has worked in the Community Dental Service with children and special needs patients. Jo joined Hospital Lane in 1996.
Rebecca Owen - EDH (Eng) GDC Reg. 6522
Rebecca gained her qualification in Dental Hygiene at Guy's, King's and St Thomas Dental Hospital in London in 2004. She has been with Hospital Lane since then.
Jodie Whitehead - EDH EDT (Eng) GDC Reg. 109861
Jodie studied Dental Hygiene and Therapy at King's College, London and gained her qualification in 2007. She is passionate about a preventative approach for patients and has experience treating both children and adults. Jodie joined Hospital Lane in 2014.
Carley Phillips - RDN (Eng) GDC Reg. 239186
Carley trained at Orpington College, achieving a Diploma in Dental Nursing. She joined Hospital Lane Dental Clinic in 2012 as the Clinic’s dedicated Orthodontic Nurse, going on to achieve her qualification in Dental Radiography. After five years of orthodontic nursing, Carley gained her NEBDN Orthodontic Nursing diploma. Carley qualified as an Orthodontic Therapist at King’s College, London in June 2018 and continues to work closely with our Orthodontic Specialist Dr Shirley Cox at Hospital Lane.

Kara has been working at Hospital Lane since April 2002, as both dental nurse and receptionist and now Clinic Manager. She trained in Hampshire and qualified as a Dental Surgery Assistant in 1996 and has held her Radiography qualification since 2004.

Lauren has been a Dental Nurse since 2010 and has experience working in a range of dental specialisms, in mixed practices. Subsequent to qualifying as a Dental Nurse, she also worked as a Practice Manager for two dental practices. Lauren joined Hospital Lane in 2016 and took on the role of Reception Manager in 2018.

Joanne qualified as a Dental Surgery Assistant in 1981. Apart from a short career break for raising children, she has worked at Hospital Lane since 1991.

Debbie started working at Hospital Lane Dental Clinic in 1991 as a qualified Dental Surgery Assistant. Since a career break while her children were young, Debbie has now returned to the Clinic as a part-time receptionist.
Cassandra - RDN (Eng) GDC Reg. 149739
Cassandra trained at Tonbridge College and has been dental nursing since 1996. She has achieved the National Qualification for Dental Nurses and has experience in various dental practices, working both chair-side and on reception. Cassandra joined Hospital Lane Dental Clinic in 2007.

Alison has been working in dentistry for twelve years as a dental nurse and a practice manager. She holds her dental nursing qualification and dental radiography qualification. Alison joined Hospital Lane Dental Clinic in April 2011. Alison has a joint role as both Dental Nurse and Receptionist.

Tracey has been dental nursing since 1988 and qualified in 1992. She worked in various NHS and Private practices, before joining Hospital Lane in 2006. Tracey has qualified in Dental Radiography. Tracey became the Lead Dental Nurse in 2016.
Dental Implant Nurse
Danielle - RDN (Eng) GDC Reg. 120359
Danielle began dental nursing in 2005. She qualified with her National Certificate in 2007 and with her Oral Health Education qualification in 2008. Keen to progress further she took her Certificate in Dental Radiography in 2010. After taking a year out to travel, Danielle joined Hospital Lane in 2012 keen to progress her experience with dental implants. Danielle is Hospital Lane's dedicated Dental Implant nurse.
Sarah - RDN (Eng) GDC Reg. 138115
Sarah qualified as a Dental Surgery Assistant from the Eastman Dental Institute in 1994. Her dental career has involved working in private practice and community dentistry and for ten years she worked as an endodontic microscope nurse in Harley Street, London. Sarah has worked at Hospital Lane Dental Clinic since April 2006 and has had various roles within the Clinic, now back chairside nursing full time.
Carrie - RDN (Eng) GDC Reg. 123579
Carrie trained at Guy's, King's and St Thomas Dental Hospital in London and qualified as a Dental Surgery Assistant in 2003. Whilst she was there she worked in many dental departments and gained knowledge of all aspects of dentistry. Carrie has been with Hospital Lane Dental Clinic since February 2004 and now also holds a Radiography qualification.

Jacqueline began dental nursing in 1994 and qualified shortly afterwards. She has had experience in various dental practices, during which she gained the Radiography for Dental Nurses qualification. Jacqueline joined Hospital Lane in 2007.

Kelly started working as a trainee dental assistant in 2008 and qualified in Bristol with 2 years chair side experience in 2010. In this trainee role she worked her way up to become lead dental nurse. Her previous job entailed working in a specialist private practice in Wimpole Street, London, where she gained her Radiography qualification. Kelly joined the team at Hospital Lane in 2016.

Katy has been dental nursing since 2011 and qualified in 2013. Her enthusiasm for dentistry has led her to gain qualifications in conscious sedation, oral hygiene advice and fluoride applications. Katy joined Hospital Lane in 2017.

Hannah is currently studying on the Apprenticeship programme, combining college learning with practical work at the Clinic. Hannah joined Hospital Lane in 2015.
Dental Ceramics Technician

Martin has been a Dental Technician since 1981 and has a wealth of experience working with dental ceramics. He has worked alongside Hospital Lane Dental Clinic since 1989 and now operates from his laboratory with the clinic.
